Marsha has been in private practice for over 25 years. She integrates a wide range of therapeutic approaches, drawing on both professional training and lived experience to meet the complexity and individuality of each person’s needs.
Her decades as a trainer with the National Training Laboratories for Applied Behavioral Sciences (NTL) is a solid foundation for her work with couples and families. When relationship dynamics are revealed, something freeing happens: clients no longer “personalize” the other’s behavior, replacing judgment and hurt with understanding. They can then use new communication and behavior tools that facilitate longed-for change.
Marsha believes meaningful change grows through a direct, honest, and attuned therapeutic relationship. Her focus is not on fitting people into a prescribed model, but on meeting the complexity of each client as they are and creating an approach that fits their temperament, history, and goals. Grounded in years of Jungian analysis, her service as an ordained minister and celebrant, and an ongoing commitment to her own physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being, Marsha offers a steady, compassionate presence and a clear mirror through which clients can come to see themselves more fully.
“Mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health is not possible without meaning. I find meaning in assisting others to live Their Own Brand of Magic, not somebody else’s script.”
